This presentation reviews the core tenants of EMDR Psychotherapy as it relates to the treatment of OCD and Phobias. The program will include an overview of ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy) in combination with the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model as it relates to the assessment procedures, treatment interventions, and skills for accurate conceptualization related to treating OCD and Phobias with EMDR Psychotherapy.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the nature of OCD & Phobias and how they relate to trauma processing with EMDR Psychotherapy.
  
• Demonstrate understanding regarding case conceptualization, treatment planning and target sequencing for clients presenting with OCD and/or Phobias.
  
• Utilize effectively the AIP Model to conceptualize and plan treatment for clients suffering with OCD and/or Phobias.
