Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples and/or family psychotherapy in accordance with federal/state laws and professional Codes of Ethics
- Consult with Clinical Director regarding case management and treatment planning
- Maintain appropriate documentation of services to clients, including intakes, assessments and progress notes
- Complete all documentation per LK Institute Practice Policies and AZBBHE guidelines
- Implement and maintain LK Institute philosophy, principles, and procedures
- Conduct one’s self in a manner consistent with the professional Code of Ethics
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment, interventions and/or education to clients in a professional manner
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each client
- Conduct weekly therapy sessions
Position Requirements:
- EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training preferred (not mandatory)
- Build up to a minimum of 12 client hours per week as well as the additional time needed for case management, consultation, supervision & documentation
- Comply with documentation protocol necessary for best practice
- DSM-5 diagnostic competency
- Competency with documenting “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans
- Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24 hours of completed session
- Good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
- Possess some knowledge of assessment and crisis intervention and community resources
- Pass background check, drug screen, and active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- May not practice independently outside of the agency in any capacity
- Must have a smartphone, computer access, and a willingness to learn LK Institute Electronic Health Records system.
- Active liability insurance policy by start date

Compensation & Benefits: This is a contract-based employment (1099) position with room for growth
- $22-40/hr based on experience (per direct client/billable hour)
