Johnna specializes in traumatic grief and loss therapy, primarily working with First Responders, their family members, and individuals who have been impacted by traumatic death. Johnna has a burden and a passion for helping those who dedicate their lives to serve our country. She aims to improve the lives of First Responders by treating trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other work-related issues. Additionally, Johnna does grief counseling for those who have lost heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Johnna obtained a BS in Psychological Sciences at Northern Arizona University and a Master’s in Counseling at Arizona State University. Since the tragic loss of her partner in 2014, Johnna has dedicated her professional career to serving First Responders and their family members.
Having experienced trauma and grief from both sides- as both a therapist and as a woman who lost her police officer partner in the line of duty – Johnna strives to provide honest, understanding counseling. Johnna provides counseling at the LK Institute and is supervised by Lauren Day.
